Elevate your Real Estate Listings!
According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 75% of real estate agents fail within their first year, and 87% fail within five years. Hiring a professional photographer makes houses sell 50% faster and so it is no wonder that established agents know that quality photos are an absolute must. While most real estate photographers focus on volume of shoots, and quick work flows, I focus on quality and thoughtfulness. I choose to build relationships with brokers and agents who have the savvy to understand the value in investing in good marketing. That helps me to focus my energy on doing exceptional work rather than chasing clients. Reserve my services today!
Let’s discuss how my professional photography services can help you stand out in the competitive real estate market.
Flash-Ambient Blending HDR Hybrid
My Process:
(1) I speak with you personally to understand your vision, and determine which services are right for you.
(2) I apply a cutting edge method I have developed that combines the flash-ambient blending approach with high dynamic range (HDR) photography. HDR photography is the use of multiple photos taken at different exposures and composited together. The result minimizes shadow and make the space feel bright. If the ambient light is poor, I use studio lights. The weakness of HDR is often is color control. The use of flash in flash ambient photography helps to keep colors consistent. An ambient photo is blended in photoshop to make the light look natural. In my hybrid approach I create an HDR image to use as the ambient layer.
(3) In photoshop I make color and exposure corrections. I keep the editing naturalistic, delivering soft and inviting images. I don’t outsource my editing like most real estate photographers. I am focused on your project, not trying to streamline and cut corners.
(4) I will deliver the finished photos expediently, and watch the property sell.
Poor Light Conditions?
Often properties are difficult to photograph or thee will be one room that is the reason a buyer chooses not to view a property. It’s easy to show off well-lit luxury spaces, but the weakest photo may sabotage the listing. My method allows for creating quality photos even when ambient light conditions are poor. Below I will share an imperfect picture taken as part of the experimental development of my method. In the example below the room is very small, has no windows, and it is painted with dark glossy colors that absorb light, yet give off glare.
This is the nightmare scenario for real estate photography and standard HDR photography or flash ambient would not necessarily give good results. The ambient light was so poor that it was necessary to blend together a series of 5 flash shots together to properly light every corner. If I were to redo this room with my current methods I would have added a studio light to create the feel of ambient light for the HDR shot prior to blending with the flash. No matter the room, I will find solutions to produce an image that will elevate your listings.
